In the Christian Bible there exists a quote, “To every thing there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven.” Just as there is a season for everything under the sun, there exists a version of yourself in every imaginable capacity. This idea doesn’t run against modern science. The “many worlds” interpretation of quantum physics says as much. There are infinitely many versions of yourself existing in infinitely many realities.
What we wrongly assume is that these worlds are closed boxes, completely inaccessible from our own. The reality is that these worlds are connected. Not only are they connected, but on a certain level, they are one. It is us who project otherness onto these worlds and keep them separate. When we engage is what is known as quantum jumping, we are walking this path (or for some of us, catapulting across it) to merge with a version of ourselves–and by extension a version of reality–that is a natural progression from the present. A reality that fits into the picture of growth we have envisioned for ourselves.
When we remove the self-imposed fiction of separateness, any of these realities can be summoned depending on our level of skill, experience, and most importantly, determination. After-all, they already exist. We don’t have to create them. We just have to see them, feel them, and then embody them. Over time, we become aligned, and eventually, indistinguishable from the self we seek.
When initiating this process we want to first make crystal clear which version of ourselves we seek to embody. To do this, we need to simply listen to desires. When you settle down, relax the mind and sit in this state, your desires will come to the surface. You can see them very clearly for what they are. You can see the version of yourself that you want to inhabit. Not the version of yourself you want to create. No, the one that already exists and who you simply seek alignment with. Hold this version of yourself in your mind’s eye and observe the ways in which they differ from the version of yourself that you currently embody.
This observation is crucial to jumpstart this process of quantum jumping. We must first notice all the ways in which we are out of sync with this desired version of ourselves. This version of you probably communicates better, is more focused, more driven, better with time, better with relationships. We should notice all of these things without feeling any inadequacy or jealousy because, ultimately, this person is just ourselves from another dimension of reality.
Imagination is a window from which we peer out at this other version and see them for how they exist a world over. The more we hold open this window and peer out at the self we desire to inhabit, the closer we move toward this new essence. Attention is like a raft in the ocean and if we stay on it long enough, there is nothing else for it to do but eventually run up on shore. As we observe this other version of ourselves more and more each day, we will began to notice shifts in our own behavior as the lines between the old self and the new self begin to blur.
At his point, we can be sure the process of quantum jumping is now underway. As long as we maintain our attention through this window of imagination at our desired self, the easier it will become to embody this new essence. The longer you can hold this vision throughout your day, the quicker this process becomes.
Now we want to “see” ourselves make this jump in consciousness. We should imagine ourselves inhabiting this new essence with a simple trigger. Maybe its a hand over the heart. Maybe its placing your hands together as if in prayer. The trigger doesn’t matter. As long as when you perform this trigger movement you are aligning with your desired self, which should now feel very real. You aren’t just seeing this merging take place, you also feel it on a deep, emotional level. Soon you will feel this new essence begin to take over the old one without effort. With practice, it becomes more natural.
When you start to fall back on old patterns–harmful thoughts/self critiques and poor actions–they will stick out to you instantly. Whereas you would previously engage in these unhelpful habits passively and unware, they are now immediately noticeable and the unsavoriness of them will compel you to reverse course. This is a sure sign the quantum jump is taking hold. You are embodying a new essence and as long as you tend the garden of your mind it will become more embedded until the consciousness
shift is complete.
